Pat: Yes, ginger cats have always been my favourite. They've obviously been very good at hiding their dirty habit as I never suspected it was just nicotine staining... ;-)
Scarlet: You've just admitted to being ginger!!! =D
SF: I know! I've watched it multiple times and I still chortle! Glad you enjoyed.
Jimmy: The cat was trying to be inconspicuous, hiding in the corner. Just too short to realize he should also look up. He's a feisty wee thing, though, isn't he?
XL: There's been a serious lack of action at Chez Ponita, so I thought I'd spice things up a bit. ;-)
Mago: In my mind, auburn is a dark red, and ginger is light like that cat. Scarlet confessed to being ginger. I'd say, from her avatar, she dyes her hair... (My mum was auburn and one sister and both my brothers are gingers.)
"Ginger" makes me think of ale and the vegetable. EVokes a golden colour with a hint of red in it. Aburn makes me think of chestnuts (Kastanien) (pic). A wide range ...
Mago: This is natural auburn hair. And this is ginger. Both of these people sport natural, not dyed hair. Quite different to my eye. Now Scarlet must prove which she really is!!! ;-)
Good heavens!! When I get my camera back from the repairers, I will show you the cold hard truth of the matter... or should that be the fiery warm truth of the matter?! I am not ginger.... BUT I don't look quite right without some red highlights. I have green/grey eyes and very brown eyebrows with pale skin and a few freckles across my nose. I am NOT Rupert Grint. So there. Sx
Scarlet: My youngest sister is like that. She's a redhead without the red hair. Green eyes, creamy white skin. Half the family got the red hair, she got stuck with mousy brown. So she does the red highlights too.
Jimmy: I seem to remember getting a glimpse of her floor when last she showed off her Smeg.
Scarls is so touchy of late. I was on the tube with her last week and I heard a message on the loudspeakers. 'Stay close doll,' I said to her. 'Why?' She replied. 'Because the message said do not leave bags unattended.'
I knew deer liked tobacco but I had no idea cats had such a hard time giving up their smokes. ;)
Ah, I always wanted to be a redhead... leaning more toward auburn, thanks to your nice illustration. With green eyes and freckles, it fits. In fact, over half the kids in my childhood neighborhoods had red hair and I went home to tell Mom something was wrong with me. Hey, I was 6.
However I will stay "mousy brown" as I was born...just to win the bet with my Mom that I will never dye my hair, even when it turns grey. :)
(I have a few grey hairs..and they're thicker than the rest of that fine stuff passing for hair on my head).
Hope: Hey, get some red highlights! That's not technically dying your hair, because it only changes the colour of a small percentage of your hair. That's what my sister does now, as she's allergic to most dyes these days.
My greys are coarser than the rest, but also straighter, which I'm not too keen on. I rather like my curls!
What a little tiger. You can see how the nicotine has stained her fur.
ReplyDeleteSigh. That's me that is. A smokin' ginger puss. It's indeed a hard habit to break.
ReplyDeleteSx
Funny stuff...had me and the missus rolling on the floor
ReplyDeletecheers, Sausage...

Jaysus Murphy! Cats and kids should never be seen.

ReplyDeleteJimmy: Did you notice that Scarlet has finally admitted to being a ginger?
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that a cat fight had broken out over here!
ReplyDelete"Auburn" was mentioned somewhere else ...

Never mind the ginger fringe, have you seen the state of her floor?

AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!! Enough with the floor!!!!

Scarlet: Jimmy deserves a good wallop for that remark...
ReplyDeleteI read Mr Jimmy's comment on my phone last night, 5hrs later I woke up from my slumber, and yes Ponita, he needs a good wallop!
ReplyDeleteSx
P.S...decided that dark and mysterious didn't really suit me.
ReplyDeleteSx
Scarlet: No, dark and mysterious just wasn't you. Vivaciously blonde is much better! ;-)

Jimmy's on a roll, isn't he... ;-)
"Rollig" is what cats are once a year.
