Spring has sprung...

The grass has riz
(well, it's starting anyway)
I wonder where the birdies is??
(the cat knows... and wants to eat them!)

Something to look forward to with the arrival of more tweeters...
I better keep her claws trimmed so she doesn't shred the damn screen!

  1. I had a cat, once. A VERY, VERY dim-witted creation that looked insanely beautiful...and didn't own a clue.

I remember the morning I opened one bleary eye to see her spring at a bird just outside my window. She hit the window screen at a speed I estimate to be 'bout Mach 1-point-2. The window screen...and she...went sailing to the ground. Two stories down. She survived her "exploit". I crapped my pants.

  2. That is an awesome pic! Action shot! Those birds are lucky you're around to make sure they stay alive to tweet (and crap on cars) another day.

Glad to see the Easter bunny has delivered spring along with the eggs!

  3. OMG! Jonas: That is too funny! I am sure it wasn't at the time, but the fact that she survived...

Your pants, however, obviously did not. :-D

  4. Eros: You snuck in while I was typing to Jonas!

Thanks... she hung on that screen just praying the bird would fly her way.

I have tulips that have sprouted up about 3 inches overnight.... can't wait to see them. I bought the house last summer so haven't seen the tulips at all. We've been getting rain, to wash away the ice and snow, clean up the dirt from the winter, and kickstart the spring greening up!

All I can say is, 'it's about bloody time!'

  5. Hi Ponita,

That cat looks poised and ready for some action!I've got nothing to top that OMG Jonas moment...I never imagined saying, "That's a little more information than I needed to know". This is one of those times.I see you gave me a shout out...and where the hell was I? Watching Jack Bauer save America! Please don't call me a Twit...Twitter-Lite will do.

  6. Hey U! Better to be a twit than a twat, right?!?!?!

That Damn Cat is always poised for action! She knows only two speeds: full tilt, or sound asleep. And she can go from sound asleep to full tilt in the blink of an eye.

  8. OK Ponita you have me LMAO with that one! I'm gonna call it a night; early day tomorrow.

    nite Ponita

  9. U: Glad I could make you laugh!

    Dream sweet.... g'nite, U.

So you have something to say about all this, do you?
Well, let's hear it, then!
