Good Words

Don't confuse the devices that connect us with the moments that keep us together.

  2. Jimmy: I had to seriously think about that one for a moment.... ;-)

  3. Serious thinking should only ever take place with a drink in your hand. When the empty glass is placed back on the bar it is time to change the subject or leave. (Glasgow proverb)

  4. I have to seriously think about the 'Good Words'! (Hey, I'm just a singer!)

    I know, my round!

    Same again everyone? :¬)

  5. That's pretty good--and so true! It's what you do with those moments that really matter.

Good advice. It's worthy of being in a fortune cookie! What're my lucky lotto numbers?

  6. I think I have it figgered out, but I'm notoriously bad at understanding TV commercials.

We are connected by friendship, while the internet is merely the tool we use to share those friendships.

    I'm either right, or I'm a tool.

  7. "devices that connect us"

That's what I get paid to do, but I never confuse that for real life.

  8. I have confused moments even when my device is connected!

  10. I'm confused.

There were those velvet handcuffs...and that indescribable moment. Inextricably bound.

  11. re Jimmy's comment, are you allowed to refill the glass and continue on the same topic?

Because I've got a lot to say.

  12. It would appear that everyone has something to say... so I'll just come around with the bottle, fill all the glasses and we'll just keep right on thinkin' and drinkin' and sayin' what we need to say! No need to put the glass down...

  13. I remember that Mr. Holmes once said about a question it would be a "two packs of cigarettes problem". I would like to have a one bottle hightime.

So you have something to say about all this, do you?
Well, let's hear it, then!
