  2. Six Nations Rugby has been on TV all day - Tee Hee. Not even the programme schedulers are interested in Valentine harmony!

  3. Scarlet: As it should be, don't you think? Love and romance is too personal a thing between two people and shouldn't be so bloody commercialized that it becomes trivialized.

At least, that is what I think... :-)

  4. Jimmy: Tweren't me that mentioned them... I don't even know what the Six Nations is, although I can hazard a pretty accurate guess! I take it your team, whoever they are, lost?

Laurie: Ain't that the truth, though... It just seems so contrived these days...

  5. No, P. My country lost the rugby, but my team don't play until tomorrow.

Save me some of that Baileys, I might need it!

  6. Jimmy: Well, I will send ESP waves to your team that they do well, okay?

I have two flavours of Bailey's: Original and Coffee. Haven't tried the Coffee stuff yet but should be quite tasty. I will have plenty for you if you decide to pop round.

  7. I kind of like to celebrate the day after Valentines. The drugstore sells the leftover conversation hearts for 50% off!

    BE MY ANTI-VALENTINE THEN!!!

  8. Alright then... I will be your Anti-Valentine. But you have to explain to me what a 'conversation' heart is.... I've not heard that term here in Canada. I'm sure it's chocolate, just not quite sure what form. :)

  9. These are conversation hearts. Maybe you guys have them by a different name? They're pure sugar, so there's that. Each has a Valentines-related word or phrase. i.e. BE MINE, LOVE, etc.

  10. XL: aha! Now I know what you mean.... I just hadn't heard them called that. And now that I think about it, I don't really remember calling them anything in particular. And yet, I have eaten them for years.... strange.

I have seen pics of anti-Valentine's ones... not sure if you can get them for real, but they say things like ALONE AGAIN, LOVE SUCKS, etc.

Not saying I am feeling those things.... well, except perhaps for the Alone Again one....

  11. Last year I sent Aidan a rose with a card that read "Happy February 14th". hehe. I don't usually even manage that much, but we were living apart at the time and missing each other... so it was kind of nice to acknowledge the day a saint was bludgeoned to death with big rocks :)

  12. Stace: See? That is what it should be! You two were missing each other so it was a 'real' expression of your love, not like you felt you 'had' to do it because of all the media hype.

  13. Ha! Indeed... and the same to you (sorry I'm a little late).

So you have something to say about all this, do you?
Well, let's hear it, then!
